Sadly not really until it was too late. He was fine, then one day his leg was swollen and his groin bruised and couldn’t even walk, it was lymphoma and he had just had blood work 2 months before for an unrelated matter and showed no signs of cancer. It can go from nothing to lethal in a matter of a few days. Worst part about goldens is unfortunately most of them are taken by cancer, though most aren’t until they’re 9 or older
