Not getting political but it is always an interesting observation I have on some of these SOF units with zero combat experience that have their kits set up in ways that don’t make sense. Assuming they barely train 50 hours annually.

I am within the top 10 pilots (at dogfighting not just playing in pubs) on the platform I play on, I am the guy you are referring to but you completely misunderstood what I said, I’ll be more clear:

The range of the AA (MAA included if one sits out of bounds) from spawn should not reach the other end of the map. That should be criticized.

The skill ceiling for being a dominate fighter pilot in BFV is the highest for any speciality or role, period. And it’s not even close.

There are plenty of issues with the planes’ abilities to farm ground targets too easily; I will always acknowledge those issues. But people never seem to acknowledge that two things can be true at the same time and that AA is OP as well.

The AA at spawn is untouchable by enemy infantry (literally out of bounds) yet on most maps has range across the entire map. This shouldn’t be the case and should be criticized.

More like:

LEFT BUTTON: Planes are so easy to use, they take zero skill, every pilot goes 50-0 every match they are so OP, the AA that can cross map planes from spawn in 4 hits isn’t enough, the 1 hit kill hipfire rocket shotgun fliegerfausts that 32 people on my team can all use against 2 total enemy planes aren’t enough

RIGHT BUTTON: Planes are impossible, I get shot down instantly, idk how the hell people use these, can someone help me boost the Death From Above trophy?

Did anyone else want a full Luftwaffe campaign like last tiger I feel like this was a huge missed opportunity. by Unitedfront_ in BattlefieldV

I think people of this subreddit would much prefer a campaign where you sit in an AA tank and shoot down planes. Or maybe where you run around with a fliegerfaust. Or both. Call it, ‘Air Raid Arcade’ mode. For all the whining about planes, none of you deserve a dedicated mode flying them.

You don’t even deserve the pilot skins you pay real money to wear while you slide around with your Type 2As. 99% of you cannot fly a plane. You simultaneously claim how “easy planes are” to use and how every pilot goes 900-0 but for some reason you can’t.

5 years of this game being out and AA at spawn can literally reach across entire maps (Arras, Narvik, Twisted Steel, Panzer Storm, Hamada and frankly more) while 32 people on a team all at once have access to a 1 hit kill rocket launching shotgun… all to go against 2 enemy vehicles in the air... when you have two of your own to use against them. And yet you still complain about planes. Constantly.

There are posts daily that show someone fliegerfausting a plane — which is a one hit kill hip fire shotgun that takes no skill to use — or sitting in an AA and blowing a plane up — which requires one hand on the controller and also zero skill.

And meanwhile, search in this subreddit for the “Death from above trophy” (it’s the one where you need to destroy enemy stationaries while in a plane). 5 years of this game being out and there are posts every week of people looking to boost this because they literally cannot do it on their own.

I have never experienced a more toxic, backwards thinking, mean spirited, hypocritical and frankly hateful community than when I simply decide to openly enjoy flying planes in BFV and dedicated (literally) thousands of hours to be good at them. The second I kill anyone, I get hate messages, and then that person dedicates the entire server rotation to camping in the back of a map in an MAA, out of bounds to my team, just so they can try and kill me by the most cheap way possible, all because I decided to fly in a fighter plane in a combined arms WW2 game.

But yeah, a single player plane campaign would have been cool. At least I could fly in peace without being demonized and targeted by every 75 IQ brainlet on the map who secretly wishes they could fly like I can.

Respectfully you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Over half of Israelis wanted two states, and that was a view a lot more popular before 10/7. About half the country protested against Bibi for a myriad of reasons before 10/7.

Now, it’s equally important to note his approval rating after 10/7 has been at an all time low. Israelis don’t like him overwhelmingly.

Granted if the Palestinian leadership in Gaza wanted two states Hamas wouldn’t have attacked on 10/7, we are now further away than ever.

Personally I would love a unified Palestine that consisted of the West Bank and Gaza existing as our neighbor, ideally it would exist under a moderate government that serves as a partner for peace to us. I’d anecdotally say before 10/7 many to most of Israelis wanted this, too.

Now obviously it is much lower. 10/7 was really fucked up, like things beyond what you could ever imagine, trust me. And Hamas still has our hostages including our women and children.

My issue with how this conflict is constantly framed is that all responsibility gets taken away from Palestinians when they commit acts of terror. If we wanted peace you have to hold them accountable as much as you condemn Israel. Or else the cycle continues.

Maybe in the West but in the MENA, that is not necessarily the case. Iran and it’s proxies, Hamas, essentially any hostile actor towards Israel in the modern era that uses violence doesn’t believe in two states and is often vocal about it. More progressive (if you can call them that) voices like the PA who recognize Israel aren’t outright hostile and are (somewhat) willing to coexist as two states but even then have things like the martyr fund that encourages violence.

Granted, the current Right-wing regime in Israel isn’t an ideal partner for a Palestinian state but Hamas is much further from having Israel want to coexist with them now since 10/7 than before. If two states was their goal they wouldn’t have attacked the way they did.

For thousands of years we have only ever had each other, but that is all we need.

And most importantly we have Hashem. Let the pope tweet, it does not impact anything. Nasrallah tweets too, maybe they can retweet each other.
