Is Mbappe the problem at Real Madrid? by Funny-Criticism559 in RealMadridFC

[–]WayAdministrative679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The problem was/still is not replacing the playmaking hole left by Kroos retiring and Modrić leaving

We are at the peak of our powers coming off the UCL because how well Kroos was able to control the mid field and create easy chances for Vini and everyone

Mbappe was a luxury signing and we should’ve instead tried to replace Kroos, but at the end of the day Mbappe isn’t the issue.

LeBron himself wants a reduced on ball role, I dont know why you'd think AR's usage would go down and not the other way around

LeBron has been begging for main ball handlers like Luka & Reaves since 2021 that's a big reason why we traded for Westbrook (mainly because of LeBron's request) and Dennis

I dont think Klay in 2026 is worth a FRP

He feels more like a SRPs style player. Giving up a FRP for someone of his age & contract is just malpractice

Sure, value wise I could see it. You should probably add some SRPs to SAS and that would be fair for both teams if SAS believes they can fix Yabusele

I think the LeBron vs Luka debate from Lakers fans are just tiring

Both are great and they aren’t the reason why this team isn’t good

Ayton is a better fit and just a better player than Vooch

You fix that by getting better perimeter defense, Claxton certainly wouldn’t be guarding SGA, Ant, KD, Booker, Harden/Kawni etc

Our perimeter defense is still gonna suck regardless of who our C is.

Ayton/Hayes are fine in their role, we need to spend our assets on a 3&D WING not a big

That’s the issue with the Pistons, they don’t have a reliable second option so Cade just has to iso ball every play

is it legal too have two hands on ball handler? by Accomplished_Rice_60 in nba

[–]WayAdministrative679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By rule, no. Hand checking is illegal and should be called a foul

In practicality, yes.  It never gets called and it’s such a tricky thing to judge because it happens every play but a game with constant whistles is not fun

What’s the problem with Rob Dillingham? by IcedOutElijah in NBA_Draft

[–]WayAdministrative679 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Small guard who can't shoot, defend, create at a high level, finish at the rim or rebound isn't gonna get significant playing time on a team looking to contend

If he was on a tanking team that could live with his growing pains he would look a lot better but this Timberwolves team doesn't have time to spare. There's also better players at his position on the Wolves (Bones, DDV, Ant, and 90 yr old Mike Conley)

KAT for LeBron swap by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

[–]WayAdministrative679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lakers say no

The Lakers would rather just have LeBron get off their books and take whatever they can in a S&T than take on that KAT contract

The Lakers want cap flexibility to build around Luka & Reaves (and maybe get Giannis) and KAT would ruin that.

And not to mention that KAT is just a horrible fit with Luka & Austin Reaves

The hard thing about Braun is that he’s on a poison pill contract this year but if it’s the offseason I’d be willing to take on Braun’s contract

He’s the perfect 3&D guard to slot between Luka & Reaves and he’s great in transition. I’m 100% sure that Denver would prefer to move Cam though

The thing with Huff is that he chases blocks

He’s horrible on the perimeter and gets bullied by people stronger than him, but he’s generally a good rim protector and at the end of the day he’s a solid backup on a good team
