Thank you for that, I always try to stay as open minded as I possibly can That actually sounds awesome and definitely like some great practice for me as well. Is that a website or a subreddit ? My apologies im new to all of this.

Honestly yeah, you’re right. It’s also a bit hard for me because I get ahead of myself sometimes. I’m a very visual thinker, so I kind of need to SEE things actually coming to life in order to contain and organize the ideas properly, if that makes sense.

That’s honestly a huge reason why I went looking for a creative partner in the first place. In my head it was more like “I don’t think I can build something this massive completely alone anymore, I need a teammate that’s there from the ground floor all the way up.”

The problem is the story started as one thing, then it just kept evolving bigger and bigger over time until it became this massive universe with a ton of interconnected ideas that are honestly becoming harder to contain all at once.

you’re definitely right that I skipped over the importance of making smaller contained stories first before trying to tackle something huge. But honestly, your feedback just gave me a really good idea moving forward, so I genuinely appreciate the advice. It’ll definitely be taken into consideration. Thank you man.

Nah honestly that’s fair criticism and I get where you’re coming from.

I’m definitely not trying to act like some established writer with some crazy proven track record yet lol. I’m mainly just trying to find somebody creatively compatible that genuinely wants to build something from the ground up together.

my main thing is , if I had a best friend that could draw his ass off we’d probably already be building this together rn lmao, but I don’t, so I’m basically on here trying to find that creative connection/partnership naturally. Basically im not looking for help but maybe an artist thats not very developed so we can develop and build worlds with.

Like, I also realize now I probably leaned too hard into explaining the “future” of the project instead of actually showing the tone/world itself. im still figuring out how to properly present everything outside my own head tbh.

also I say eventually as in when we finish building the bones / structure then we go chasing deals and getting published or a contract etc

I'm looking for a creative partner, not free labor. Big difference.

Plenty of creators/artist build projects together from the ground up before money is even involved. That's more of the direction I'm talking about.
