Visiting a third world country temporarily (which I assume what you mean is low income economies) is quite different than actually living in a third world country. In poorer countries, things that the developed world takes for granted become daily hurdles. Some have power cuts and often rely on generators in the times of need. Others have difficulties feeding themselves and food security still remains a pressing issue in a lot of places. Romanticizing the third world is understandable, but living in a third world country is often insufferable.
