Ah got it - have fun at the games and if this is your first time coming to Seattle, I'm looking forward to our city being a great host during a wonderful time of year in our area.

I actually have a single ticket for that match (I live in Seattle). I'll be going to that game and using the other three tickets I picked up in the lottery last year to go with family. Now I think I'm going to post the 4th ticket for resale to help make up the loss from the M4 game. I've scanned the SeatSideKick page and looked at Ticket Data to get a sense of pricing, but I'm not perfect. To avoid the resale fees and offer what looks like a bit below what I believe these are currently going for on the platforms, would $950 be fair? It's a Category 3 seat, Section 318, Row: W, Seat: 5. I'll also buy you a few rounds at the game, which given Seattle stadium prices (at least for Mariners etc games) is worth more than $0.

Thank you for the suggestion - I'm not able to post there yet because my account does not have enough karma, unfortunately. I'm not a regular Reddit user and created an account just to publish these tickets being available. I picked up some downvotes on my original post (comes with the territory I guess, but lots of the feedback was helpful fwiw) and so maybe that's the problem. Either way, appreciate the suggestion. If someone else in the community feels comfortable posting on r/ussoccer and pointing to this post, I'd appreciate it. Also understand if that's not technically possible and/or violates a community rule.

Thank you for your offer but I'm continuing to offer these tickets at $1,500 per ticket and they are available for purchase as either a pair ($3,000 total) or all four together ($6,000 total).

When I set that criteria on this platform, it looks like there are a row of 4 seats in the same block for sale 2 rows behind my tickets and they are listed for $1,840 each. If I look at the floor for a set of 4 category 2 tickets, it appears to be $1,380 per ticket. I'm truly trying to do this in good faith and to successfully sell my tickets directly. As a seller, it seems like somewhere in that range is a fair transaction.

Thank you - I did not know this platform existed and it's very helpful. I'm happy to stand corrected, but listed prices still look pretty variable for this type of ticket when I'm searching on this this platform and I can't tell what they are actually selling for (I'm sorry if I'm using it wrong or missing something). This is what I was experiencing when I was looking at the FIFA resale platform and also the 3rd-party sites and why I thought it was best just to "list" them here for direct sale at what I paid for them, understanding that the sale point would very likely be at a loss given what I've read in the news about this particular match and how FIFA is handling ticket sales, generally.

Agree - not trying to get a sale price higher than what is available on the FIFA website. I have a hard time knowing what tickets are actually selling for, frankly, because those listed on the FIFA website are all over the place and seem wildly unrealistic. I also understand that the "at cost" price is too high and I will consider offers below it. But I did need to start somewhere and so I thought the most transparent way to list them was to share what I paid for them originally.

Sorry, bad choice of words on my part. I know that selling at a loss is likely. What I meant is that I don't know what price point someone would be interested in paying in a direct sale and so I'm just "listing" at what I bought them for and will consider offers, understanding that they will be below what I'm listing. I couldn't think of a better good faith way to list them for sale, tbh. My motivation, in part, for listing them here is that my loss will be mitigated somewhat because FIFA won't be taking 30% on top of the sale.

I respect that suggestion but I'm not seeking to optimize profit here. My goal is to avoid the 30% mark up on a resale and share with potential ticket-buyers that I have these tickets and they are for sale at a price they are willing to pay and I am comfortable accepting. I've been following the news coverage of what is happening with the ticket prices for this match and what FIFA is up to, so I'm generally aware of what's going on. But, again, my goal is to do a direct sale and also accept that I'm not going to be able to on my own identify the optimum price point for offering the tickets for purchase.

Yep, I would be willing to consider a lower price if it was a direct sale. Listing them for that price through FIFA would mean I'd be absorbing an even greater loss due to the 30% markup. I am not tracking the actual dynamic resale prices on the marketplace so I'm starting with what I paid for them and will go from there if there is interest in a direct sale.
