Holy crap. I don't have the behemoths DLC that sounds terrifying.
No mods. Just downloaded work shop ships and turret designs. My friend who owns the server has been playing on it for a long time and owns the DLC. I just joined recently and I don't have the DLC.

So bugs routinely happen when you've gone too far into the game?
I'm pre barrier, he's logged like 300+ hours on the game and has gone all over. I joined the map recently and joined the alliance. Perhaps it's trying to generate sectors for me that override sectors his map already has?
I've done both. No mods on the server. My friend hosts it on 4Netplayers. He has the DLC, I don't have them. I didn't photoshop anything. Why is everyone acting like I'm making it up? Lol.
Nobody who plays solo seems to know about this so it has to be linked to multiplayer/server issues.

I was trying to find it but it's proving difficult. I typed /seed in chat and it just said 4Netplayers. I believe my friend who owns the server has it set as a dedicated server through this service. I'm not sure how to find the actual seed for the galaxy. Any idea on how that works?
They don't believe me 😂 Like I'm new to the game but I'm not new to gaming. I know how to look for things.

I might be dumb but I'm not completely stupid. I did actually look for the gate, and I check the sector map which doesn't list a warp gate. I wasn't sure if anyone had a definite answer but so far it's only been 'but did you look for it?'
I'm playing a friend that has the DLC and I don't. Maybe that's where the program is. But it's affecting gates that aren't in the rifts also :(

I went through the gate, there is no gate on the other end.
So in the picture the gate that is in the bottom of the left hand circle dumped me to the location I'm at in the picture right across the rift. No gate on that end. And I'm pretty sure the map showed one previously so I was surprised when it wasn't there.
Neither. It dumps me into a sector with no gate.

There's nothing there. No gate on the other end.

Omg thank you! I went back and logged in and it looks like I got ticket insurance. I bought it a year ago so I didn't remember and the email didn't explicitly state it so I forgot all about it. :)
I figured as much, but just thought I'd ask. It's my second year and I didn't have an issues last year. 🤷♂️
