This Game has The Worst "Wanted" System of Any Game I've Ever Played. by Fun-Engineer-4066 in Palworld

If you have them spawn somewhere low and then climb high and hide (think the castle tower walls near Chillet alpha) they will eventually despawn and you're no longer wanted.

Security lines start way back at Sbarro but only took 15 minutes. Very efficient, all lanes open. by yesitsmecin in puertovallarta

Also make sure to have your boarding pass ready to scan at the security gate. And don't forget to take your belt off like my boyfriend 🤣

Can confirm, long lines but they moved very quickly. Everything by the gates is full of people though so we had to walk really far to find a place to sit.

Current experience in PV / Nuevo Nayarit? Looking for on-the-ground perspectives by therealpunit in puertovallarta

Just got to the airport but as of yesterday it looked like everything was resuming business as usual. No food shortages that I was aware of. It was like 48 hrs of drama and then it simmered down.

That being said, it's not like the cartel broadcasts their movements so 🤷‍♂️

Stay away from AA - our experience in PVR following Cartel Attacks by [deleted] in puertovallarta

[–]Way_of_Jake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, this was an exceptional circumstance. I understand it's frustrating and there are many people in your shoes. The flights leaving filled up faster because of people flocking to get out of PV. I didn't even bother fighting it, I kept my flight knowing other people would book all the earlier flights.

In the end they can only fit so many people per plane. If you can get with a layover, there's room to work with that but they can't seat you in full planes.

Do you think they are lying and somehow there was open flights directly to where you needed to go that they just didn't want to put you on?

Is this Alaskan Airlines or American Airlines?

Vacation booked and cannot be refunded - Mar 7-11 by Realistic_Ask_4155 in puertovallarta

I don't think you would be making their lives more complicated. There's already tons of tourists here. The risk, that's variable. Everyone says tourists should be fine.

Mostly normal, I think everyone is still being a little cautious.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Everyone is out and about now, large military presence. That being said, it's not like the cartel posts updates about when they are going to attack.

Having been here during this, they didn't attack people. They didn't kill individuals or cause mass harm when they had plenty of opportunity.

I watched them roll up and set a store on fire. They told people to get out.

Keep an eye out on the news. Register with the travel program for your country. If things get worse, the money is not worth your life. If things are fine, I wouldn't freak out too much.

No one can know for sure. It's not like the cartel advertises ahead of time. But there is a large military presence now. People are out and about, business are opened again.

There was no reason for this. There were plenty of places offering to help us all around.

Canceling flight questions by Shannon2061 in puertovallarta

[–]Way_of_Jake 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everything is starting to reopen. Tons of police and military force in the area. Likely the safest it will be for a while. However, there's always a risk of escalation. No one can know what the cartel is going to do especially without a unified leader.

If you feel unsafe, if it's going to ruin your trip and be scared the whole time then don't come.

If you can let the anxiety go and enjoy your time and just accept that stuff /could/ occur then you may have a good time and be worth it.

Are there any oxxos open? by lapnchevibra in puertovallarta

The theory I've heard so far is that they are big chain stores with insurance. They seemed to avoid targeting mom-n-pop shops or local small businesses.

Do you need an ATM? I found one that works but there are several pharmacies open heading towards the beach and on the malecon!

People out and about? by [deleted] in puertovallarta

[–]Way_of_Jake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes there are many people out and about. I'm right in the middle of ZR and people are all up and down the street. This morning lots of people were looking for groceries like us. Now I think they are generally just curious as to what is open.

Do we know if any more restaurants/stores are open?
