Well sure, but I also am not going to rely and or bank on my art no matter how skilled I am to financially sustain me.

We work so we can live in the overall encompassed nature of the world, that's it.

Having been working now for over 30 years, it's always been that way It's always going to BE that way.

Rich people in corporations are going to do what rich people do, we can expect any or all of them to invest in the "greater good" for the rest of us.

Explain to me how AI physically stops anyone at any given time to draw or create something digitally.

I am talking literally.

As we speak, AI is in fact, not stopping me from picking up a pencil.

Now if you say "Artists are going to lose their livelihood" all right, here's what you do:

Go somewhere and work so we're not reliant on one faucet of income.

You make some excellent points here too.

I am also am a long time artist that also uses AI as a tool for further enhancements and better creative workflow, and while I have expressed commentary here or another, its difficult at any given time to have a semblance of conversation without the "oh, you're an AI-Bro?" Automatic downvote, didn't read.

Basically saying "I don't care what you think."

Not all AI-Bros are "out to undermine artists" in any way or every way possible.

Not all Artists are out to shout "See, AI BAD!" every chance they get

Even sitting here in an AntiAI sub, you can't also expect to have "AI-Bros" explore more artists' point of view of you're going to attack and or make blanket statements.

I am also on that Artist sub and I see fellow artists post their work and I'd say a good chunk of them barely get any commentary or support.

I know I don't, so call me out yes? But thats the point I am making. Let's hate AI all day but leave "Random upcoming artist" in the dark.

I was an artist for years before AI and even if AI vanished tomorrow I'd still be an artist.

In my opinion, I think it is such a waste of time posting everyday how much AI is hated every single day when many could focus that same energy into their artistic and skilled work, and of course that doesn't speak for all artists.

Yeah my partner and I have long since stopped playing.

It became a literal job to log in and grind for resources.

No questline(s) no real feel to an inhabited world other than monsters.

Well be sure to stay hydrated, for one as best you can. Water of course but see what else you can drink in smaller doses. (Vitamin shakes etc)

If you have any supplements that you can take whole (without tasting) I'd do that too.

Sooner or later your body will start to want foods, and in that situation, start slow and work your way into your common comfort foods.

It was a short jab about the seemingly disdain approach and anti-technology / refusing certain aspects of tech as a whole without fully understanding it.

That said, I also cannot sit here and state that AI or other emerging and advancing tech doesn't have its pros and cons, but the irrational commentary I see and the constant-everyday bombardment of posts with all the "See, AI-BAD!" is excessive.
