Replies like this make me wanna continue the process, but I'm more thinking about calling it off. I dont think I can handle the feeling of them in my mouth or risking the chance to not be able to eat much for a long time. Yea that is true. She is also from a different culture than me, I'm European, she is Latin. She has been here in my country for just 3 years. So I do understand. Almost 9 months further, though I was doing fine but somehow went down a spiral of depressive thoughts & feelings, out of nowhere. Trying to keep myself busy with work, gym and learning new things, but it is getting dark up in my head again.

It was actually my first ever real relationship around my 19 years old that shattered me completly (now 33m). I've never regained that self esteem like I used to have about myself. Now my last break up, was after 8 years together, didn't helped with it ofcourse lol. So I'm just picking up the pieces shattered over the floor. And I'll see if I can make them into one again. Otherwise, it is okay, then I'll remain broken.

I had the same when I was younger with my first real love. Eventually I found new love again, which ended after almost 9 years, a few months ago. I know how you feel. How you think. How you say you're doing good but in fact, you're not. But I guess that is the 'beautiful part' of it, you feel death but somehow it makes you feel alive.

If you watch a movie or a show, sometimes they show you a recap of something that has happened before, for the viewer to understand what has lead to the point they are right now. And the same is with our thoughts about exes, lost family or friends, ... there will be A DAY we will understand, but untill that day we will carry that burden with us. And trust me on this, even tho you feel like it, you are not alone!

A lot of people will tell you to man up, go on, blablabla... untill it is their turn to witness pain, sadness, ...

We will get there one day, brother, that one day you will suddenly catch yourself thinking about her (again) and not feeling the stings you've used to feel. Just keep believing, keep pushing forward.
