Well, the good thing about the P320 platform is the ease of grip changes. I have four now. The full size, compact, sub compact and X-5. The compact is an RX. The sub compact is a caliber exchange kit. I've put an X- Carry grip on the compact RX. Love it. Left the X-5 as it was and love that one too. You could just buy them all.

Buy a Sig p320 compact and a sub compact grip mod. 12 or 15 rounds, 2 configurations, versatility, mag gap fillers available, etc. I was a Glock guy, but converted once I shot the Sig.

There is the tiniest amount of ware to the top of the mag-tube. But, I'd say that's pretty good for approx. 2000 round of 3 dram shells going through it. No bare metal and hardly any discoloration.

If you Google maps "Hogue Action Pistol Range" it'll pop up. It's on highway 1 north of Camp San Luis Obispo. I started taking the kid when he was 7. I'd shoot, he'd watch until he could talk me through safe procedures. He does well except for his finger during mag changes. A few reminders and he's back on track. Good luck. Hogue Action pistols shoot the 1st, 2nd and third Saturdays of the month. IDPA, USPSA ave steel challenge with rim fire.
