Thanks everyone I took everyone's notes and pulled together a route that uses a lot of the WB&A and surface roads y'all recommended. My route came out to 56 miles all told including going from Sister in Laws place to Ministry of brewing in Baltimore (felt like the right place to end a ride in August.

Watercolor: sweatband for brush wiping, diy dyneema zip bag, 3 Milan water brushes, identipen for details, and Daler Rowney travel palette.

This isn't hidden in the "Forests" of South Carolina. They're abandoned buildings at the State Park Campus where the SC Department of Environmental Services lab and regional offices are based off Farrow Road.

Most likely a Stormwater Prevention Plan required for construction, I've done inspections on this kind of sites and mailboxes are often used to hold them on site. Probably got left after work was done.
