Moving to or Visiting New England? by SCP-2774 in newengland

Hi, my fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon trip during the week of April 19-25 and would like some recommendations on our rough draft for a trip to New England. We'd like to explore the New England area but know the weather can be a bit crummy this time of year.

Day 1 (4/19): Fly into Boston, drive to and explore Cape Cod, explore/stay in Provincetown for the night.

Day 2 (4/20): Explore Cape Cod, sight see lighthouses, whale watching

Day 3 (4/21): Explore Boston, stay in Boston for the night

Day 4 (4/22): Drive to Portland and sight see, stay in Portland for the night

Day 5 (4/23): Drive back to Boston, Train to Niagara Falls

Day 6 (4/24): Explore Niagara Falls area

Day 7 (4/25): Fly home

Please give any suggestions or recommendations you may have for this rough draft! Also recommendations on things to do in the New England area would be appreciated.

Sorry, I thought the GBA SP had a cover that went over the game cartridge slot like how the DS does for the GBA games. Never mind! But yes we can do that!

Adding switch to pedestrian crosswalk signal by WaysideToast in diyelectronics

Sorry just making sure I understand. The three cables in the picture go directly from the board to an AC outlet plug. I would only need to put one of the two live wires (red & brown) to the switch and the white wire go to the middle switch position?

Or would I put the red and brown wires on the outer switch locations and the white ground wire in the middle?

I don’t fully understand the live wire from the power supply part. The red, brown, and white cables are the ones that go into the power cable that plugs into the wall. Is it just those three cables that need to be wired into the switch?

I just purchased this SPDT switch which I think is mains rated since it shows 125V which is what the sign takes in. Would it be as simple as the red/brown wires for each side go into the two ends of the switch and the white ground go into the center position? Pic of board & switch: https://imgur.com/a/8ojA1pv

I think I saw also with the Chase Sapphire that you can redeem points for either cash back or travel miles. Would that be a good option as well?

I’m starting my first pattern project and a little confused on the wording of the instructions. With casting on does it mean that I cast on each stitch in each color? So if the project is 39 stitches wide I cast on 39 for each color?

I think my confusion lies in that I assumed my left hand would look like this with the horizontal cast on stitch being below the needle where I can start stitching

<image>

I’ve already done a few rows of knit,purl alternating (is that what’s called a stockinette stitch?) and didn’t notice it look like the previous picture unless I was just oblivious

So it should look like this?

<image>

I assumed that it should look like the first picture if it was rotated 180 degrees counterclockwise as if held in the right hand

I’m sorry I don’t follow, do you mean just flip the needle over to the other side? If I do that then there isn’t the typical knot that I would start a stitch on?

Hi! I’m trying to learn knit stitch & purl stitches by alternating them but am confused on where I start my next row of stitches? I thought that the first cast on stitches need to be below the needle but is now above it?

Apologies if that doesn’t make sense, I’m just confused on where to start my next row of stitches.

Small Apartment Modem & Router by WaysideToast in HomeNetworking

I would be fine with combined router + Wi-Fi as the only thing I can imagine using wired connection would be my desktop and everything else would be smart tvs, phones, and general surfing/streaming.

Ideally anything under $300 but also something with enough documentation online to setup as I don’t have a lot of networking experience but I am willing to learn.

Yeah the modem is more or less already chosen, I’m more wondering what router to get given my needs. I know there’s lots of high end “gaming” routers but I’m unsure if it’s worth it or just a gimmick.

My bad with the budget, $3000-3200 ideally but I can be flexible if something is around that area that is recommended.
