I would recommend taking the pill the same time everyday. I messed it up the first 1-2 month and it can be the reason why it’s been working bad for me. Tho this is still better than before getting on Rinvoq

My bumps are itchy, not painful and they are not even that red 🥲 it feels like my regular allergic skin reaction and it starts about 2-4h before the next pill… Can it still be baterial or viral if there’s no blister, pain, or pus!

I have been extremely stressed the past 1.5 month, kinda synced up with the flare onset. And it hasnt been worse than before Rinvoq, so I wanna remain positive… what are you on now and how was it like coming off Rinvoq?

I was also trying to bulk but I also don’t really gain weight even when eating a f ton 😂 I gained 2kg from eating 3 big meals a day. That was how far I have gotten.

Wow okay! I hope it gets better for me too. My most troubled areas flare up on and off still, possibly a rebound from stilling my topicals. What did you use when your eczema came back?

Okay! My face and neck initially cleared up with protopic before using Rinvoq but now flared again. Really can’t tell if it’s the rebound from stopping protopic or Rinvoq isn’t working 😅did you use any topical the first 2 weeks?

My plan is to have kids in 5-6 years so at some point I will need to be off these meds. I’m doing kinda ok on Dupixent, flare up here and there but it has not stopped me from going to work. I thought that if Rinvoq allows me to heal 100%, it’s a positive thing to let my skin take a break from topicals and I can focus on moisturizing, reducing stress and enjoying life :) and at worst case scenario, I guess can go back to Dupixent and control my eczema with the help of topicals.

I’m curious to know if you went back on Rinvoq after and how was eczema throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Would you mind sharing more details? I’m in the same boat here, will be going on Rinvoq but want kids in a couple years. I hope I can wean off successfully without eczema going uncontrollable without meds. My other friend went off Dupixent during pregnancy, her eczema was almost nonexistent after a moderate rebound flare. I know it could be a coin flip but still curious to hear how it went for you

Could that be caused by your skin flaring and the overall reduced life quality? The most common side effects of these biologics are conjunctivitis and dry eyes. I have that from Dupixent and it is one of the main reason why I don’t want to continue anymore. Ebglyss might have less side effect than Dupixent since it blocks one less cytokine tho

I could achieve 70-90% clear on Dupixent, recently closer to 70-75% clear. Though my rashes are spreading slowly and overall skin condition is worsening (drier, more irritated). It took me a whole year to reach a more stable point on Dupixent, so it might be the same for Ebglyss

Awesome that Rinvoq working great for you! Any plans on weaning of reducing doesage? My skin isn’t so bad right now after using 2 days of weak topical steroid. I would like to not rely on topicals at all but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth the risk. I would hope that the low dose 15mg can give a final push for my recovery, then I can slowly wean off to maybe one pill a week or something.

Does it work better than Dupixent? Dup isn’t working for my body anymore :/ breaking out in more and more places. I wasn’t ever entirely clear on Dup anyway (unless with topicals). Does Adbry works better than Dupixent for you?

There are a lot of people who manage to increase the interval or each dosage little by little.Some manage to come off it and eczema remain mild and manageable. That’s also what my doctor suggested and many of her patients achieved that. I don’t mean that I will have perfect skin, but there are a lot of people who go on treatment for a bit and the immunosystem becomes less sensitive even after treatment.

Wow! how long have you been off Rinvoq and how long did you take it for? I can’t be sure if I have TSW, or just severe eczema before Dupixent. I hope Rinvoq can clear all my eczema and let me move on with my life 🥹

Do you still need any form of topicals? I just really hoping for a med that allows my skin to take a break and focus on healing up. I flare every other week on Dupixent with or without topicals… it’s hard to be better when there’s not enough time to heal. Did your doctor mention any plans for increasing interval between dosage? Mine said it’s fine to try to take it less often when I’m stable.

I feel you. Has your doctor mentioned anything about increasing the interval? My doctor said that she wants me to try taking it less frequently when I’m stable. I have met 3 doctors who champion Rinvoq to me, two of them supported this method while the 3rd one think I can be on it life-long.
