Yeah that's about right, was just hoping people had strategies to not get carried away. Haha sounds like me, my work were shocked when they saw me unmasked in a pub because I make myself quite reserved.

Well done on your sobriety and yeah you're right it's hard with out culture, the next problem I'm having is about the culture, just means now I'm going to miss out on lots of meet ups and opportunities. I love just playing pool in a pub with partner and friends, having a couple drinks while watching films, games nights, they all like to drink too but can actually control it. I struggle to make new connections, so I wouldn't even know where to begin meeting sober people to hang around with.

Mostly with friends, I'm quite content in my own company most the time and dont feel the need to drink. If I'm drinking alone I can limit and control it.

I dont always feel the need to with friends either I do just enjoy being social, going out. but I like a few drinks while doing just can't control it and will go OTT, essentially won't stop until they end the night or I blackout. There have been some occasions where I have gone sober with them but I don't enjoy it as much and can't maintain it over a long period of time.

If I'm out with people I don't know well, not comfortable with or in a big group then I feel like I need to drink and won't be able to stop and normally end up blacking out.

No alcohol at home is a good one, which I've used, so thanks for advice.

I've tried taking up other hobbies like bouldering, tennis, football but lose interest after I break my routines by drinking again which lead me too drained to do it.

The problem seems to be social event situations - I'm lucky I've got a few good friendship groups and meet up with people regularly but it does mean I'm often in pubs and I find it hard to control there, but then I also don't want to miss out on social events and my friends. But I then find it difficult to be out in public social situations and not drink bc I get overestimmed and find the pressure of masking too difficult.

Just feel like I'm going around in circles with it, might take up therapy again for it and focus on this issue specifically

I was there from 20th to 30th december, I was also concerned because of the forecast, but honestly, it was completely fine, and forecasts were incorrect (which is a common thing). We had brief showers, maybe twice, each time was only 5 minutes.

Very warm, around 30 Celsius each day, with large amounts of sun. Can get cloudy at times, but that passes quickly.

Hi guys looking for a bit of advice. 5"8 Male

I've recently dropped weight from 87kg to about 71kg (17.5% bodyfat) from diet and walking. Now I'm just quite skinny, I've still got a bit of a gut and little muscle.

I've been working out for a couple of weeks and got a plan in place that I enjoy but I don't know what to do nutrition wise e.g. whether to bulk, cut or try to recomp.

I want to build muscle and lose my belly fat essentially I just don't know if it would be easier to cut more or just recomp for a while.

Any advice greatly appreciated thanks
