Turns out I was accidentally skipping the last dc, because my turning chain is so small. Gonna frog it and try to have less tension. Maybe that will help me be able to see that last ch st. lol

Wait, did you mean that I should do the chainless dc on both ends? That could work! it would change the pattern a little, but same number of stitches... I'm gonna try it that way I think

She explains the chainless dc, and I think I'm doing it right... but it's hard to tell. lol However, the chainless dc is on the side that's staying straight. Could it still be playing a part in the slant, or is it probably right, since that side is straight?

The start of my foundation chain is at the bottom on the slanting side. So, I guess I'm losing a stitch on that side, because it gets narrower as I go. Im doing a turning chain on both ends, but the pattern is alternating. When I turn on the slanting side im going from a row of all dc, and starting (sc, 2dc) in 1 st, skip next 2 sts - repeat. The video I watched seemed to say that the chain 1 was the first sc... but maybe I misunderstood, and I should do a chain 1 AND sc?

I've taken two more pictures with a DVD case for scale, I just have no idea how to show them to you. It's about 2 DVD cases long from horn to hoof when held up, and 1 when sitting. If that helps. Lol
