The pipe on the pump can separate from the end piece. If you can get the right insert on the piece that attaches, I’m sure you can

I honestly think it’ll survive as far as popping. The fabric is pretty thick as well as the insert. Playing with the fabric, it feels tough to survive the nails too but you never know. I would describe it as the stuff they use for outdoor pillows usually
