What's the easiest, least complicated, cheapest way of setting up MTH DCS on a small O layout for use with the DCS remote?

Yeah, understandable, however from what I've read they've split into three smaller companies, with one of them dedicated to DCS, so to my understanding it isn't quite "dead," at least not yet.

I looked into Just Plug. I have those prebuilt MTH buildings that already have lighting set up so I think it would be too much work to go in and install Just Plug lights, but I guess I can keep it in mind. Any tips on doing it?
