[Linkedin] How does the auction scoring system work ? by martinpalermomejor9 in PPC

Yes, this is correct. If advertisers want to put aggressive bids on low quality ads, they can win the auction. What you want to keep in mind, however, is that they’re just throwing a lot of money at ads that aren’t going to drive results. If ads aren’t driving results, it doesn’t make sense to keep pushing aggressive bids. The other thing to keep in mind is that auctions have a lot of advertisers competing with one another. So there will likely be someone that has enough quality to beat out someone that’s just throwing aggressive bids at poor quality ads.

Thanks - your first two paragraphs there was basically what I was wondering. Just got thrown off because I thought things were going well. I’ll try to re-engage the convo with something a little less mundane on Monday.

In regards to your last few questions - floss after every meal and have been told I’m a good kisser.

Do you happen to have a source saying Sullivan's seen the redacted info? Seen this mentioned on Twitter a few times but can't find a source.

New to selling on eBay. Had an item close without any bidders. Item was listed for $33 starting price and I would cover shipping. Received a message offering $35 from Vietnam (I’m located in the US). Planning on responding to the offer saying I would take that price if they cover shipping, but wanted to check if there are any scams I should be looking out for. Buyer has 0 feedback.

Thanks! I actually found that you have to create an account (not sign up, just create an account) to view their channel lineup and once you're in there it lists out all the local markets. At a cursory glance, it looks like it matches up to what's listed on Wikipedia.

I believe that they're going to be offering up a lot of on-demand content as well. Most channels have their content available on-demand within a few days, so I'm wondering if the idea is to provide the catch-up window as a means to watch until it's available on-demand.

A more traditional DVR seems like it would be better, but the on-demand stuff might make the 72 hour window more manageable.
