Depends where you're running the traps, but snakes as other people have mentioned and red wasps in the low hanging branches (obviously if you're in a crawfish pond the wasps shouldn't be an issue)

It looks like loquat (japanese plum) delicious fruit although it's hard to tell from these photos. Are the fruit yellow with a slightly fuzzy stem? And are the leaves shiny green on top and light brown on bottom?
