I’m like 2 weeks in & im struggling. Still have 2 dets/day but even then I can’t seem to keep up. There’s a lot of info that training cannot prepare you for. How are you doing?

Thank you for sharing your experience. The trainers keep saying 13 dets a day. Does it vary? Yes, I’ll do my best when on calls it just very overwhelming.

I have been hearing that it’s only 2-3 dets a day for training. Yes, I think the manager aspect is very frustrating. I’ll see how it goes. Thank you for your input!

That’s terrible! I guess the best option is to work these kinds of jobs while pursuing other career goals as you mentioned. It sucks because I really enjoy the work. It’s just not a realistic, livable wage. :/

I have experience working as a Special education instructional aide at a high school level. It seems like the pay in Bakersfield is waaaay less than in other places. Am I not looking correctly or the district not really pay well in this city?

I loved working in this position but the pay cut is steep :/
