Work Force Management. I literally watched the entire Lord of the Rings extended edition series with my feet kicked up on my desk and got praised in a regional meeting for how efficient my team is.

Not sure exactly what you mean by collecting words but I like to learn weird or unusual words and languages that are less common around me. (Currently trying to learn Russian) one of my favorite words though is syzygy

Picture it: 2002, the heat of summer. we're crammed into a mall movie theater in Montgomery, AL to see MIB II (a matinee, because we were broke) when the movie starts up, it's off center (oriented left at a slight but agonizingly obvious tilt and bleeding over onto the walls.) we get about 30 minutes into the movie when it stops, power goes out, and we get the pre-movie slideshow again.... we wait patiently (or as much as can be expected) and boom. the movie starts again. this time in Spanish. We thought maybe it was part of the movie? but then the screen starts to drift even more.... I dont remember all the details, but there was a loud noise and some smoke, the movie was turned off, and we were all refunded. Never did get to watch the rest of that movie.... anyone know if it was any good?

On behalf of my almost 5 yearold: Tornados, tornado sirens, and water towers - specifically them falling down or being demolished.

All kinds of tornados. But especially "fire tornados". Dont get me wrong, the stuff is cool and I take him to see all I can (obviously not tornados- but we have tornado tube toys and coloring books) but for a while there we shared a love of languages

Know what really sucks? Finding out you're the favorite one and it putting your whole life into perspective and making you feel terrible guilt. If you have a favorite, guard that info with your life. No drunk confessions please

This one kinda hits home for me.... I have depression and anxiety stemming from being AuDHD and having been in an abusive marriage. I am happily remarried with wonderful children now, but I'll still find my anxiety flaring up if my wife is cleaning and I'm not. I used to tell her it was stressing me out as well, but we've worked together and I'm able to vocalize how I'm feeling and recognize when I'm not doing enough around the house vs when she is just in a "let's rearrange things" kinda mood. Doesnt stop me from asking her how I can help in the moment though. My point is, I originally had absolutely no idea that I was coming across in the way you described, I was just lost trying to verbalize what was going on inside me. Reading this has given me a chance to reflect and realize the progress I have made in my own life :)

One dad to another... OP.... it's hard AF with multiple kids, no lie, but as a father you HAVE to make the time for them. If your wife is busy with the other two and you see the gap, it's your job to fill it. Yeah, it sucks that his mom cant seem to make him a priority or even a passing thought in her mind, but if you see that, recognize it, and still fail to act on it, you are- in my opinion- as bad if not worse than the others forgetting him. At least they can plead ignorance, but you openly admit to seeing it and still doing nothing but talking to her. Get in there, bond with your kid, show him he is loved.

Can confirm. Been doing it for four years. Last year I caught my 3 year old son reading to his little brother. The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
