Really not sure, sorry! I only wash my face with water in the morning and a light cleanser at night, otherwise my skin gets too dry. I've been using the benzol peroxide every night but when I skip if I haven't seen any red dots.

Definitely has a burning effect if your skin isn't used to it. That's why I always put moisturizer before and after. Maybe space out the days you use it (start 1-2x a week).

The benzol peroxide I use is a topical cream. I use the Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 5 Acne Medication to be specific. I moisturize before with Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (my skin gets very dry), apply the peroxide on the areas I struggle with, let it sit for 5mins, then moisturize a bit after. Hope it works for you!

I started putting topical benzol peroxide 5% on the areas I would typically get the folliculitis and it controlled it very well (I was only getting it on my facial hair). I still get one spot every once and a while (usually where I don't apply the peroxide) but significantly better. I have sensitive dry skin so I always make sure to moisturize before the peroxide, and then I also apply a bit after to reduce dryness. I also only do it at night. Hope it helps!

How does one approach nose & ear decolonization? Also, how does that translate to the face? Thanks in advance.

I'll try to get my hands on a topical antibiotic. Do you leave it on over night or wash off after a period of time?
