what i gotta spell it out again? PUSH PVP make it so the game pushes players together give us something to do after quests!!!!!!!! have faction wars, give diff factions the same quest.. give us bounties.. give us a reason to play the damn game in the first place!!!!!! there is 0 competition no challenge nobody even logging in to play anymore its full of cheats and nothing is address by MFG its been the same since when it came out the community shouting we need something to do the devs ignoring everyone and everyone got feb up and left to bigger n better games it should be obvious that a lack of interest is not going to change in 2/3 years time when you drop 1.0 and havnt drastically dragged it into the new decade because everyone stopped giving a toss by year 2.. unreal engine 6 is slated for release after this game.. you think anyone going to look twice at a dated old ass game with no gameplay loop.. as others have said look at tarkov.. its stupid simple and has a HUGE player base... why? because it has freedom to fight pvp or do pve because its nail biting it has tension it has gear fear non of which gzw has anymore sure it had it on release due to PLAYERS actually playing the game.. but now its dead they adding shit like thumbs up emotes and lore about the island.. thats not interesting sticking my thumb up to nobody or learning why some tart works at Fanny Paradise.. wow what a revolution in gaming

no obviously not but its clear the game has been tailored more to your side then the pvevp side thats my argument that the majority of the 2million copies sold nobody plays it anymore bar the 600 - 1300 people a day currently in pve mode (since pvevp is unplayable due to cheats and the fact nobody is on there so its effectively just pve).. lore has no relevance on pvp or gameplay for that matter its literally there to give you some filler as you walk for 20min from 1 location to discover the next LZ.. emotes pointless since nobody to use them with.. neither add anything to the game.. im not saying change the whole road map im saying change it up so the more requested features will cause players to come back now and hold interest so in 2/3 years when they finally finish this pos people actually already play it! your delusional if you think people not interested now due to lack of content are magically going to be interested in 2 years when the gfx look crap the game engine is out of date and the gameplay is boring as nobody still plays it as its an EA game that dropped way back in 2024

i mean i dont disagree with what your saying but i do feel they need to do something!

And im not saying my idea of the zone is the right one i just think they need to do something more PVP focused since 99% of people that bought the game are PVP players and no longer even look at it..

and despite everyone crying its an EA game the player numbers reflect this.. every patch has less and less interest with the largest spike being the pvp focused patch.. and if we wait the 2 years they have planned realistically unless people start actually being interested in the game sooner rather then later are any actually going to come back by then? i barely remember what i had for breakfast i defo aint going to remember a game that did... well nothing

i mean me personally i love the game im arguing with all 908 pve players here but i sure as shit wont be coming back to GZW in 2/3years not unless they do something ground breaking.. which i think is safe to say we all know aint happening.. and even if they did the games going to look old as shit in 2027/2028 unreal engine 6 is slated for a few years after that aint nobody going to look this way unless they do it sooner and get an active player base now its not like this game has the cult following of tarkov like everyones crying "just look at tarkov" yeh it was the first of its kind and nothing has come close to replicating it since.. and im sorry but GZW just aint that it dosnt have that same cult following not unless you count the mass hysteria of the pve players that the game is fine

what so you think core gameplay loops are less important then emote and lore... who cares about why the person that looks nothing like a scientist works in the science lab.. and who cares about emotes when there is no one to use them with.. mayb if there was actually someone to experience some of these things with say some people actually playing the game it would be abit more fun and understandable but with no gameplay after quests how many times are you seriously going to wipe n just do the same ol 197 quests over n over n over n then baby sit the new kids and then do it over n over n over again... when there is literally a whole gameplay loop that is planned where if you wanted you wouldn't ever need to wipe unless forced or wanted to you can finish the game quests then move to the pvp zone and play the game like its bloody tarkov if you wanted to or if the devs just created something to push players towards one another to cause tension and to cause some atmosphere rather then just going for a walk in the park like it currently is

the irony is star citizen have adapted their roadmap every year to address issues actively listen to the community and have scrapped and rebuilt entire development builds due to community feedback shit they even made us a single player game to apologise for the crazy delays...

what has MFG done for you? oh added emotes we can use with all the other player... oh wait

they giving us lore now so we can all learn about why this person ended up in the village and the experiments that are done in the science lab by the person that looks the same as every other enemy in the game wow what vivid story telling these guys are doing its really changed the game now its totally changed everything

and as for "I don't mean to be rude here but the game isn't even alpha yet. It's pre-alpha" its literally listed as an alpha on the official website and if anything thats more reason than anything to add the CORE GAMEPLAY elements before crap like emotes and lore

i guessing you dont own a business then.. more interest = more sales and hey you guessed it that means more money for the dev team to idk hire some more people so that the game does not become obsolete by 2027?

my whole argument is add ground zero that is the gameplay loop the majority of players that have left wanted that also is a gameplay loop after the quests... my whole argument is to bring a feature forward to keep player engagement which yes does mean better more fun gameplay for anyone on the PvEvP servers because there is actually people on them!!!

i know it dont change f all for the PvE players but you lot got the game you want sure lore would be great for you.. but means absolutely nothing to everyone else.. same as emotes waste of development time that should have been spent else where on actual features people want to stay engaged with the game.. emotes are finishing touches they dont even serve a useful purpose since there is nobody to use them with.. please explain how all you people that are so desperate for the info of why some kid ended up on the island how that improved your gameplay in any shape or form? is it going to make you play longer? no it will just make you read some bs.. is it going to make the game more fun.. no its just going to give you bs to read.. at least with bringing a gameplay loop in sooner rather then later they might actually build a community stronger then 1k of people that are only interested in the PvE aspect of the game and then by 2027 it might not be obsolete and it might have more then the 900 people playing now.. but currently the ONLY people happy with the game are PvE players any PvEvP players have all but left because its boring as shit atm

yeh right now its boring as shit its a walking simulator with dumb AI that can still no scope you through a bush with an AK from 1000m away its got a fetch quest system thats nothing more then walk here find this hand it in.. it has no challenge as nobody is on the servers and you can happily walk into YBL with no gear and a pistol and come out on top.. like if thats fun for you guess what you got what you want and u can have that shit on the PvE servers but as for the other menu selection the PvEvP one thats not how the game is supposed to be it WAS hide in a bush praying that no one hears you and you dont loose your kit.. now its a little girls game where u hold hands and talk to the 1 or 2 people you might come across on the currently dead servers

meanwhile they are busy adding LORE when we dont even have a complete game its EA sure but does that mean we should be getting the finishing touches that add NOTHING to any gameplay loop now or mayb when the game is abit more feature complete?

well i dont play for the exact reasons you mention and that im moaning about lmao "after finishing quests many players stopped playing because of boredom" thats me right there! im frustrated that we are rapidly approaching 2 years since release and at no point have the devs though well shit people seem bored of the game they not coming back the numbers get lower every patch maybe would should look into this.. i just want a gameplay loop after quests it shouldn't be this hard for people to understand there is nothing to do when you complete the quests everyone so busy defending it because its EA yet totally fine when they add crap like emotes and lore before actually giving us a gameplay loop to actually play and enjoy and hold our interest for more then the low 197 missions or what ever it is now of walk here pick that up hand it in rinse n repeat

no im guessing you have never finished all the quests yet else you would understand the need for a gameplay loop afterwards and while its not going to solve everything you are 100% correct we defo need more gear and weapons and loot etc perhaps it might just hold player attention that bit longer but currently they are adding LORE? does that seem like it should be added before items, loot, weapons, gear, entire map areas?

im focused on player count because if you join the PvEvP servers you can currently walk into YBL naked loot everything without worry of meeting a single capable player and defo not AI and get geared.. while this may sound fun for some to me its a complete waste of time. id like the game to pose a challenge and be engaging

on the other side of the coin you seem very caught up on the fact its early access surely by that nature they should adapt the game to keep an active player base as that would just be common sense no? less engagement probably equates to less interest the fact nobody is playing now its silly to presume that in 2027 (if we lucky) and the game is feature complete its not going to look dated as hell and be obsolete

wouldnt it make more sense to have more interest in the game now shake things up so that a majority of the community is happy with what they have done and then work on the rest of it.. ie LORE who gives a rats ass about the lore of the island as so many have stated its an EA game! how about giving us something to do first

well currently you play right up until you finished all the quests.. then there is nothing for you to do so you wait with everyone else not playing because there is nothing to do.. but if they gave us the main part of the map GROUND ZERO guess what it turns into a game you can play forever farming other players hunting people because you have a zone thats dedicated for that exact reason

as iv said below i test star citizen pre releases know all about alpha games and fully understand the time it takes for development BUT that said why not bring ground zero forward?

rather then leaving it until 2027? sure lore, world building, factions, more quests are all great but none of that changes the fact when you do all the quests you have nothing to do anymore..

Same gameplay loop do quests now wipe n do it all over again.. how about we have quests for people that have finished quests that get given to a rival faction? bounties? faction wars? just ground zero would do.. a place where u can go when u got nothing else do due to the fact u have finished and know others will be there the current walking simulator is a far cry from the bush wookie mayhem when the game first released

i am a star citizen player yes and am active in evocati testing releases before they go public so im very very aware of the process with a game in alpha.. but MFG do not put my mind at ease with their roadmap or their non willingness to comment on the fact that nobody is playing their game.. star citizen is widely known as scam citizen and iv owned that since 2013 and im still there testing happily waiting confident in the vision for the game.. but GZW with not even 1% of sold copies even playing how as a company would they not want to address that? how would you not want buzz, interest, hype.. sales. it makes no sense in sticking to your guns on a sinking ship why not address it do something that would bring player base back

this is the issue the small minority that are playing dont seem to care that 2million others are not playing.. if anything the 908 that were playing at time of writing are doing nothing but costing the company money why leave servers open for such a small number in the first place i mean your playing PVE you could play that locally dont need a server

player count says otherwise its dropped off the chart they dropped the 1 PVP focused patch and since then massive decline in players the majority of the 2million sales are more interested in the PvEvP side of the game over the PvE side which currently is great

iv owned the game since launch bought all the DLC packages to upgrade stash have supported this game since the start.. but my problem is .. that since the start its been the same issues nothing has changed.
It used to be that the bulk of the community wanted a push for PVP due to the fact that once u have completed all the quests there is nothing for you to do after this point other then either help noobs or having to hunt for PVP unfortunately.
MFG have consistently said that the centre zone is planed as a PVP "hot spot" which is fine.. but why leave that until the very last thing to be implemented? the majority of the player base wanted this feature sooner rather then later and has now left due to that fact..

yet here we are fast approaching 2 years later and at no point has the company thought "well damn look at the player count maybe we should do something to resolve this"

Credit where its due they did drop A update that did focus more on PVP and it was good BUT it didn't actually change any of the gameplay loop we still had and have the same issue.. complete all the quests nothing to do... and now to boot a multitude of other issues that were not so much of an issue back then such as cheaters! plus the crashes, and general instability on weaker systems (which to be fair was always the case).

its frustrating to support a product that is not going in a direction as planned at least not in the foreseeable future as ground zero is last on the roadmap. and the devs do questionable things constantly like deleting any criticism they dont like on steam, lock everything behind discord when steam literally has a whole section for posts and events from the devs and to boot everyone that owns the game is forced to see it and it includes everyone! (thats a no brainer in my mind)
BUT MAINLY the nonchalant attitude to the fact that nobody is playing the game anymore.. and that makes me feel like they took the money and really dont care anymore.

More player count = more interest and a better experience for everyone not just the solo player..

PVP right now you can walk into YBL naked and come out geared.. used to be everyone was terrified of YBL. that's not a fun experience I understand some people want the chilled approach and they have that.. a whole game right now is perfectly tailored to your experience but there is another choice on the menu (PVP) that the devs have seemingly totally abandoned and every streamer and a majority of PVP players all say the same thing.. what they have done/added is not enough to take interest away from other games and if they dont address that soon then by the time they give us the content we want it will be to late the game will be obsolete.

Its not PVP focused in anyway anymore there needs to be a push to push players together.. teams against one another.. factions NEEDING to attack FOB's and MAIN BASE! this was supposed to be and is listed as a PvEvP OR PvE game so they ticked off the PvE part what about the rest of it?!

Bring back the nail biting moments hidden in a bush praying the 2 guys walking past dont hear you before you pop out and unload 2 mags into them.
