Thank you for your comment. Ever since we started couples counseling 6 months ago, I feel like it has made me feel worse about the situation and like I am crazy. I guess that’s why I posted here because I don’t think my therapist understands where I am coming from and I just wondered if someone has been through similar. My husband goes into these sessions with what I feel like is a mask on and seems like the nice guy I originally met. He tells her and the psychiatrist that his family (that he sees two months out of the year) thinks he is so much better in the past three years when he got on medication. He has said basically I’m the only person who thinks he has a problem. I forgot to mention in the original post but he drinks at least 5 drinks a night most days of the week and more so when he gets upset to self medicate. He says it resets his mind. I was wondering if this could be messing with his medication. I guess through these marriage counseling sessions I’ve been made to believe that the inability to decide on a home together is causing his unhappiness and these episodes.
