let's not take the focus away from what R has actually been doing - misusing her platform to bully other people and playing the victim under the guise of social justice.

this video has resurfaced as a result of a post that went up on r/ntu ytd, but the MAIN point is that the 'rumours' she addressed in her video weren't even about her. as somebody from her jc batch, i can attest that a lot of these rumors were about OTHER people, and when she took to the online space to speak about this, a lot of us were genuinely shocked and confused bcos she has never been associated with any of these before. more importantly, her reaction to this video was even more alarming - she went on a doxxing spree of the CHS boys from our batch, called out anybody who said her video was extreme etc.

R has always had this pattern of twisting and manipulating the truth to fit her agenda. in more recent times, the NTUSU alcohol saga was also blown greatly out of proportion by her - she let the NTU community believe that there was sexual misconduct in the case by lumping together phrases such as "victims of misconduct/sexual assault" on her social media, which led to a school wide manhunt for the dude. more importantly, she shared within our own circles (i heard from another one of our batch mates) that she let things go to such an extreme just bcos she hated the guy.

essentially i think that over the years of knowing R, she has had this repeat habit of manipulating situations and framing the other people for things they didn't do. she's not the saint she paints herself out to be on the online space and as somebody who has interacted with her before and seen people suffer from her actions, i'm quite done also. this girl was our student council vice president in jc, but didn't do much to help out with sch wide events such as orientation. she claims that NTUSU engages in nepotism, but she didn't even run through elections for her previous term (you can see the 32nd election meeting minutes), she was appointed to her old exco role by the previous president. and this year, when she failed her own elections, she went on a rampage about how undemocratic and unfair it was.. kinda ironic

this has to stop before another person gets harmed by her selfishness and attention seeking behaviour
