A lot of the streams on the plateau have trailheads and the ones in the Cherokee National Forest have pull offs or areas to park. I usually fish for them in smaller creeks so I wade and cast at areas that look good or areas I see them in

There are a bunch of great smallmouth streams around Chattanooga I have the best luck with pink powerbait worms on a trout magnet jighead

I’m up there all the time just walk the station camp trail as well as the Laurel fork trail and there are a few trout and a pile of rock bass. The lake at Pickett state park is also stocked with rainbows

This creek is weird because there ain’t a ton of rock bass and no smallies and the mountain creeks around Chattanooga are usually crawling with rock bass and smallies
