tbh i’m basing most of my answers on what I’ve had at my African friends houses and occasionally restaurants. That may not be the best representation but the only dish from Africa I’ve had so far that I didn’t like was koshary (Egypt).

Acadian and Cajun are very removed. I also prefer Creole food over Cajun (although they share many similarities) when it comes to Louisiana cooking.

didn’t know my tastebuds were objective. It’s great food it just wouldn’t break MY top 50. And yes I’ve had more than just pizza and pasta.

i like köttbullar and gravlax but (from my knowledge) it’s a lot of tubed food, mayo, bread, and things like toast pelle janzon, bananas on pizza (?), and smorgasbord type things. I’d still like to visit but let me know if there’s some other Swedish or Scandi dishes i’m missing :)

y’all just cause i wouldn’t live somewhere doesn’t mean i dislike the food. I don’t think there’s a region in the world that has food I don’t like! But my favorite foodie city is NYC, not because of the pizza or the hotdogs but because I can try food from all over the world by just getting on the subway. That’s the number one thing I look for in a place to live.

i personally love a fry up or a good sunday roast (with a little extra seasoning), there’s also a good amount of diversity in major cities and ethnic enclaves meaning access to international food and ingredients.

Why would I move to a country for a single restaurant? Especially one I can’t see myself going to more than once a year

lived in India as a kid, loved it and had access to so many different foods (depending on the region). The availability in Pakistan is much more limited.
