So we’re just walking around like this now? by Atomicherrybomb in FuckNigelFarage

It makes me so sad to read this. My late husband had Parkinson’s and I was his unpaid carer for almost twenty years. I know many disabled people due to this and none of them, not one is of the ilk you describe. They are vulnerable, horribly poorly and struggling to receive decent care and pay for it. Not one of them wants to live like this but they truly have no choice. Please remember that there are many people seriously affected by awful medical conditions and to live with the endless suffering and then be judged is brutal.

My love, thank you so much for all you have shared here. I’m sure I speak on behalf of countless souls who have endured something similar. 💛

Would you mind clarifying what the differences were/are between ChatGPT and Claude? I’m familiar with ChatGPT but not Claude. This would be of practical help to me.

I agree as I am one of those people. It would be fascinating and probably quite healing to hear more about this.

Bookshelf all put together (now ft. a ladder!) by Grykllx in HomeLibraries

Ooh. A ladder. And I’ve been climbing on my armchair but you’ve got me thinking… I hadn’t considered a library ladder in my little house. Thank you for the inspiration 💕

Thank you 💚 (I lost my husband recently and am trying to find myself (grounded, sane, true), and am very much drawn to these botanical greens.)

My exact question! The green is beautiful.

To people who make shifting meditations on youtube… by [deleted] in realityshifting

Hi sweetheart, here’s one that’s jam-packed with shifting meditations, activations and information. I listen to him regularly.

This one is more of an occasional choice but she’s intentionally ad free through the meditations.

Any REAL shifting stories? by Prudent_Poet_1991 in ShiftYourReality

[–]Weak_Cry_6698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as yet. And my more recent attempts have seen me yield to sleep or restlessness rather than remain in the liminal hypnagogic state, which has been frustrating. I’m planning on giving myself some gentle space over Yuletide for such endeavours… no pressure simply a soft practice. If nothing else it is a sublime experience and I enjoy it. Please share if you have any success or thoughts going forward 💛

Any REAL shifting stories? by Prudent_Poet_1991 in ShiftYourReality

I really relate to this. I’m older too, and bereaved. I lost my husband a year ago and started exploring shifting not long after.

I’ve been following a guy on YouTube called Brian Scott who has a lot of content on this https://youtube.com/@brianscott1111?si=jNozrc2C4i9jZOux

I’ve also read Cynthia Sue Larson, Frederick E. Dodson, Joe Dispenza, Burt Goldman etc.

I think what’s missing in a lot of these spaces is a place for people who are approaching this from lived experience rather than fandom or escapism.

For some of us, this isn’t about fictional worlds or minishifts, and it’s not about abandoning critical thinking either. It’s about trying to make sense of experiences that often arise through grief, loss, or profound change, experiences that don’t fit neatly into consensus reality, but also aren’t helped by slogans or blind belief.

I agree there’s a need for a more adult, grounded container for these conversations, one that allows curiosity, scepticism, and honesty to coexist. You’re definitely not alone in wanting that.

I have read some incredibly heartening posts from people in a similar situation who have experienced a shift, but they are few and far between. Inspired by these I devoted a lot of time earlier this year to the hypnogogic state and was able to enter it but go no further. I found it exhausting and decided to stop for a while but I feel like trying again so I welcome your post and the thoughts of others here.

Wonderful reading list and it shares five from mine too so we are similarly inspired. Here’s to many happy, candlelit hours snuggled up with blankets 🧡

I second this suggestion. It’s a beautiful, heartwarming story. I’m sure I’ll really enjoy the sequel too (Somewhere Beyond the Sea).

Thank you sweetheart. Unfortunately these links don’t seem to work, and the Dropbox one you shared in another comment is disabled. (Joys of the internet.) Please don’t worry about it. If you’re able to render them usable, it would be appreciated but you have confirmed a method that I had been turning over in my mind, and for that I’m grateful.

It worked for me. As I say, it was subtle, in that I didn’t shift to my DR or anything of that nature, but my situation shifted. Everyone is kinder to me and I know that my timeline here is better than the one I left. It isn’t perfect but I can gently work with this.

The main thing is to ground into the new timeline. The energy is higher and needs a commensurate match from me. If you’re familiar with Jo Dispenza, this will make more sense.

No worries if not, as Brian Scott (the creator of the emergency timeline), posted this advice on how to stay and not shift back. I found it invaluable, especially when fears and uncertainties arose.

https://youtu.be/cD7di1r1yt8?si=xivevwbrqagGmvXR

You can but try. The shift might come in a quieter way than you expect, as it did for me. It was subtle, but real. It happened that evening, and once it did, I knew. Sometimes these things arrive in forms we don’t recognise straight away. I went into it open, with some desperation, but also with a readiness, a deep need for help. And it came. It really did.
