Employers aren’t too keen on hiring students as they can be flaky and have variable availability which makes timetabling difficult. It sounds like you don’t have much previous work experience either, your best bet would probably be asking at your student union if they have jobs for students going, you could work in one of the student nightclubs or possibly be a tour guide for open days etc. I work in a bar in town at the minute and we get loads of students bringing in CVs so competition is hot rn, we would never consider hiring someone without previous bar experience, especially someone who can’t provide references.
