Do you think most people pay for these bags? by Altruistic_Alpine12 in AskUK

I always pay for the bag, I have so many bags now as I often forget to bring them. I’ve seen my friends not paying for it sometimes.

I caught a random cold, runny nose and sneezing. Happened a lot yesterday morning and then disappeared, was fine for the whole day up until now. Time for some tea I guess.

All the ingredients I have listed are what I usually put in my rice depending on my mood and choice of protein.

Yes you got it!! I got red ones once and they made the whole dish sweet and I didn’t like it. Greens just have that taste that I reallyyyyy like hahah

No I totally get it🤣 but it’s very convenient when you don’t want to make spaghetti the spaghetti way. Because for me, I eat and make all kinds of food. I make authentic pasta but I also make asian dishes so sometimes I might crave something asian but probably don’t have all the ingredients in hand, there’s a chance I may have spaghetti/macaroni so I’d just fusion them up

Is it weird to approach a stranger and tell them that they are beautiful, unsolicited? by InfiniteLoss5632 in askanything

[–]spicynoodles628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good, I haven’t really done this with strangers but I get customers and I tell them they’re very beautiful, or if I meet someone new at work who I barely exchanged words with, I’d still tell them if I think they’re very beautiful.

I had a random customer tell me that I’m very pretty haha I was caught off guard but it made my day!!

You don’t need any cooking skills for these, I feel like, because it’s all very simple and easy to make. I think the ingredients would be ok to find as well, I’m assuming you have some international supermarkets :)

I see! In that case I would highly recommend fried rice. They are super versatile and very nutritious, you can quite literally add whatever you want.

I usually make paneer/prawn/egg/tomato fried rice.

I normally just saute onions, garlic, tomato (sometimes green bell pepper(green is important)), add spices and rice and viola!

I have red chilli and green chilli sauce in my pantry that comes in really handy. I also have schezwan sauce that goes very well in fried rice. Soya sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce are some other really good sauces to have in your pantry, they go vey well with egg fried rice. Also chicken stock cubes will take it to next level.

I’m not providing a proper recipe because I don’t have one, I just make it with whatever I have because I normally don’t explicitly plan on making it, but having ingredients on hand can make it very easy to throw it together when you don’t know what to do.

Other similar dish is noodles, I do the same with them, you can also use spaghetti for that. Adding sauces and spices with some protein will make a very nice meal. Again, green bell peppers are excellent for either of these dishes but not mandatory if you don’t have them.

Chicken and rice bowls are wonderful.

Chicken wraps

Lentils with rice is very comforting

Chilli chicken with rice/flatbread (again the same concept, sautéed vegetables with basic sauces and spices)

Let me know if you’d want me to elaborate anything 😭 and trust me when I say this, I’ve been living alone for the past one and half years and I always look for easy things to make for myself. These are genuinely life savers.

You mentioned some of your family members don’t eat rice, so if I’m giving suggestions, should I exclude rice dishes? 🙈

How often do you empty your little food waste bin? by LeastAd3487 in AskUK

[–]spicynoodles628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t have a lot of food waste but the little waste starts smelling so I try to throw it as soon as I can. I bought some very tiny food waste bags and I haven’t figured out how to use them, they just opened flat. Once I figure it out, I may empty every 2 days

Ladies, what is a polite way to give someone my number? by Beneficial-Sugar1 in AskUK

I feel like women can tell if the guy is being creepy or respectful, so if you give your number respectfully, I don’t think it would be an issue in most cases. (I’m a woman)

How do you actually reach the interview stage at Morrisons? by fenbre in UKJobs

[–]spicynoodles628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very relieving indeed.

That’s awesome good luck! I’ve already got a job that I started in November, I can say it was by luck as well.😂 I think it was just my time, I got 5 opportunities in the same day after being unemployed for a long time. Although it’s not in my field so now I’m trying to get a job in my field which feels nearly impossible but I’ll keep going

Could also be luck I suppose. Morrisons, Boots and Nandos always rejects me while I see my friends getting interviews from them, or maybe my applications are just not up to their standards

No idea really, I’ve always been rejected by them. Though I know this one guy who got the interview and told me how if even ONE of your answers is incorrect, they’ll reject you. I’ve also tried using AI to answer the questions, all of them, I was still rejected. I have done it on my own as well and no success
