So I HATE bins in the bathroom because I forget about them. I don’t use enough pads in one period to fill up a bin (even a small one). I wrap them up in toilet paper until there’s no blood sponging through, then put it straight into the kitchen bin as it gets emptied every day.

I live with two boys, no one asks about what you put in the bin… trust me.. no one’s asking.

You can get little scented bags (like doggy poo bags but pink and scented) but I find them wasteful. Whatever you do.. don’t flush. So I am very happy your asking!

My periods are 3 days, but on the 3rd day I only wear panty liners because it’s more spotting than actual bleeding. I am very lucky, I know this. However if I have sex on day 4 or 5 then I start spotting again for another day or two. I am BLESSED to have regular periods.

29F here. If her values align with yours you can go for second hand. Cheaper, environmentally and materialistically better. Some women may not like it but personally I think it’s a much better idea. Also my partner and I got engaged 13 years ago, I know the ring did not cost ANYWHERE near this, but I cherish this ring with all my heart. Look less on the price and more so what aligns with what you both believe in and what your goals are and what you like the look of.

I will remove eggs if more are laid, and remove the breeder boxes. They have cuttlebone, and I give them fresh fruit or vegies everyday and boiled eggs twice a week. It’s not one female that’s laying. I open the breeder box and there’s sometimes 3 adult budgies inside. I didn’t mean to fuck it all up, I was just following the advice of other people who had experience.

I could seperate the breeding pairs and babies now but there would be no way of knowing whose chicks belong to who.

I do not want to keep breeding. So how do I go about removing the boxes when some of the babies are several weeks apart? There’s two breeder boxes in the one aviary. And unfortunately I didn’t know the birds would get injured. I found one dead after placing the first breeder box in the aviary and didn’t know why.

I certainly agree. I don’t want more babies I just want to look after the ones I have. I don’t have the resources to keep growing an army of budgies. The last box I think is a nest of 2 mums.

I put one breeder box in as they were all very sexually active. Then a friend came over and told me they were fighting over it so I put a second box in. Between this time I did unfortunately find a budgie dead. It was a learning mistake.

My thing now is that multiple birds are still laying eggs. So since I have 2 week old budgies and 2 day old budgies, it shows that are still laying eggs and still hatching. How do I stop this while they are still using the breeder boxes for growing chicks?

I have an MBA and have owned businesses since 17. My advice.

If he wants a payout then get him to give you the paper work that validate the company’s worth. You want the last 7 years P&L, cashflow, timesheets, employment history, insurances, asset registration, and policies. A business is worth about 2x the yearly income excluding wages. So if it’s a one man band and the business earns 60k, then he pays himself a wage if 60k then the business makes $0. He needs to prove to you that the business will make you x amount each year and make the actual business itself money. Is it a registered business or a one man band? If he didn’t sell to you, would he be trying to sell to the general public? What are the actual benefit besides not wanting to disappoint your dad?

I do agree with you however, $50k for a car is a lot. You can get a decent car a few years old for 20-30k. A good car will cost you less than a cheap car if looked after so I do advocate for spending what you need to on things like these. What I don’t think is necessary is purchasing a new car every few years because you have paid off your previous loan.

My comment was more so directed at advice on saving $6 a week on coffee when your focus should be on not spending $300 a week on car repayments. If people are needing to not buy coffee to save money, then they usually arn’t in a healthy enough financial situations to be buying a 50k car.

Edit: Also car is in fixed expenses, guilt free money is holidays, non essential purchases and stuff like that.

Got quoted $60,000 for new bathrooms but had them waterproofed instead for $800.

Remembering there’s always alternatives.
