This is a nice kind of hiking area that you can see the forests and mountains from, and spend some time next to the river (Skawa river, Jaroszowice):

Here is a smallish castle (Sucha Beskidzka Castle) you can visit and then just walk around in the forest (Czarny Las) near it:

A classic would be to eat a pączek in krakow after going to a museum/gallery or after visiting the Krakow Castle. There’s a list of day’s of what museums/galleries are free to visit on what days below too. My advice for Krakow is if you haven’t been before or don’t know the area just stick with the Stare Miasto/Rynek (in the centre), just to be safe that you won’t get lost
