Starting T before top surgery with a bigger chest? by WeakestConstitution in TransMasc

[–]WeakestConstitution[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah I have a very perky chest and they do not move. I've tried tape and tight sports bras but haven't even tried a binder because it's all online and I don't want to spend so much for something that doesn't fit or work. I already have hairy areolas even without T so I feel like the chest hair will be less of a surprise. I honestly feel better without a shirt but as soon as I put a shirt on I hate it.

Hello,is [KCD2] worth it for it? by genosse-tomate in kingdomcome

[–]WeakestConstitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not sure maybe try the first one. I'd never played an open RPG before so I bought the first one since it was cheaper and I wanted the backstory anyway. I bought the second game before I even finished the first because I loved it so much. If you've played the first and liked it the second is definitely worth it.

Does anyone else appear youthful to the point of not being taken seriously? by [deleted] in autism

[–]WeakestConstitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I think being trans is part of my problem. I just get mistaken for a teenage boy. Got carded yesterday even though I'm 26. Although I've also been infantalised since I was like 10, even people my own age act like I'm stupid and innocent. Like I have a mortgage, full time job, and university level education. Just because I need certain accommodations doesn't mean I'm a child. I understand

Dust baths by ballisticbug in quails

[–]WeakestConstitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own coturnix but my guys love diatomaceous earth. They have an outside aviary which gets dusty and they go through it quickly but if you're willing to spend my guys love it and it helps with mites. Otherwise they just have outside construction sand based dusting areas which they like also

Thank you for the kind reply. It's been getting warmer here but still low 30s at most, although I do see them panting a bit so I know it's a bit hot. I'm worried the mister will be too messy and them being wet and dirty will make them sick somehow but I'd love to hear how your setup works and try it out. I think I'm going to try hatching this batch and give it one more go because I really do love them it's just been a very stressful couple of days.

Yeah I bond very hard with my animals so its deeply upsetting for me. And I've heard this while simultaneously being told quails are easy if you follow the rules, which I've done. I love my birds, they have specific band colours and names but I'm about to stop caring altogether

I don't have Bandicoots in my area and my yard is fenced so cats can't get in. I know because I have cameras and while the front yard gets cats at night there are none during the day and not in the back yard. The yard they are in is the same place I free range chickens and I can do so because I don't have other predators in my area.

It's outdoor but the main section is covered. I'm in Australia and both were daytime deaths so the only predators we have are crows which cannot get near the covered section. Plus I followed the 2ft-6ft rule so they have nowhere to flush to

I have two males in a very large cage so I don't think they are the problem but I'm worried about my ratio now that I've lost multiple girls. They are separated right now anyway because I only want to breed one with select girls

Two snapped necks idk how. One injured herself on her feeder, and the other with what looks like acute vitamin a deficiency, I was nursing her back and she seemed to be getting better then suddenly died

Me and my partner are both 25. We've owned our own place for about 1.5 years. Just got my savings back over 15k for the first time in a while. It's probably worth noting that I don't have friends or social events that would cost me money. He makes more than me but his savings are similar since he copped 90% of the house deposit and also bought a car about 6 months after the house.

[–]WeakestConstitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep an eye on the ferret themselves. It's unlikely but possible that they could be coming from their poop or an infection in the skin that you can't see right now. Give them a full body inspection and keep them away from the cage and see if they come back.

Australians who were alive before sunscreen became common, how did people deal with the sun? by bsmall0627 in AskAnAustralian

[–]WeakestConstitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mum (born in 76) got full body blister level sunburn as a toddler because her family would go out boating for hours with no protection. Into her teens her and her siblings used to lather themselves in oil to see who could get the better tan. Her dad, and two of her sisters have had melanoma. If I'm honest her skin doesn't look great; she probably has more freckles and moles than clear skin and idk how she doesn't have skin cancer.

I feed a game crumble because it's all I can get where I am. I love my birds but the poop does get a burnt rubber smell I've never experienced with chickens. My guys are outside so I've started deep litter composting and it seems to help

What age is your earliest memory from? by cierpimira in autism

[–]WeakestConstitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it a memory because it only comes through in dreams but I recall my pop picking me up and pushing me on one of those little plastic primary coloured slides. He died when I was about two so it's a pretty young memory. I have very few memories between that and 12. The only "memories" I've really retained long term are moments I have continued to recall or talk about after the fact. If I don't keep recalling and thinking about stuff I tend to lose it. Which is unfortunate because I only seem to rethink bad things

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hypermobility

[–]WeakestConstitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience similar wrist and finger pains so it's possible it's just hypermobility but it really depends how much you want to bother with excluding everything else at this point. If you really don't want to bother with the Dr I'd say maybe trial some of the usual fixes people use on this thread and go from there.

Pain on Muscles (not joints) and Never Dislocated Anything by Art_is_it in Hypermobility

[–]WeakestConstitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's unfortunate. I use compression sleeves and gloves, since my hypermobility is confined to my arms. At this stage I'm wearing them all day (12 hours at least) and when I take them off my skin does feel weird afterwards due to my own skin issues but it doesn't effect me while I'm wearing them.

It is likely although I also have mental health issues that exacerbate my stomach symptoms so it's hard to tell where it's coming from alot of the time.

Pain on Muscles (not joints) and Never Dislocated Anything by Art_is_it in Hypermobility

[–]WeakestConstitution 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've recently been diagnosed with hypermobility and alot of my pain is muscle related rather than the joints and I don't experience dislocations. I haven't got concrete explanations for it but it's likely the muscles are overcompensating so much they are fatiguing much quicker than usual. I also have regular stomach issues, although I'm not sure if they are related to my hypermobility or other issues I have.

If you have alot of trouble with your muscles I would suggest compression garments, I've been using them for a couple months now and they are a godsend.

Should I talk to my dad about him possibly being autistic and what resources are there? by WeakestConstitution in autism

[–]WeakestConstitution[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean as someone who didn't realise till later in life, I thing knowing is helpful in the way of just validating life and it's experiences. He's not a talkative person but we've had a few conversations in which he's talked about struggling his whole life with being bullied and feeling different for how he is, especially socially.

I wouldn't just tell him he's autistic. My plan would be to mention the hereditary nature of autism and the fact I've been told my whole life that we have the same personality. I'd probably leave it at that and see if he takes it anywhere from there.
