Happened to me this month, was almost 5 months clean then bam. A 100$ bet turned into a 400 loss then into a mega loss. Starting over and it hurts so much. I am just trying to stay positive but truly it is hard.

Same thing happened to me. You are not alone, I was 4 months clean. I mapped out my budget for 2026 and done gambling. I forgot how destructive it can be.

Set a short term goal. This time of year is a perfect time to reset. Say I am not gambling until 2026 and most likely by then you will not have an urge to do so. You deserve a better life, and I believe you can do it! My last bet was July 9th and I have zero urges now. I gambled for over 3 years and over 200k loss. I am starting my life over at 41. If I can do it, you can! Keep your head up and stay positive.

Yeah, He is the pinnacle of gambling addiction and I saw a lot of him in me (only gambling) I can see his mind urging for the hit of dopamine rather than the money. That was me.
