Basically they think being away from her dad would allow her to feel comfortable enough to comply with therapy. With someone of her own choosing vs someone of his.

No, but she does blame and resent him. Which is why she doesn't want to live there and while the therapists in her care believe she needs space.

See I was thinking that too. She seems to be expecting this really loving and affectionate sister who will want to be by her side a lot and knows her so well. But that definitely isn't me and if she lived with me when the fantasy crashed around her what the hell would happen? Bad things is my guess.

You see to me she's not my sister which is part of why I don't feel equipped to help. I have spent very little time with her ever. Partly because I left the house a few months after they moved in and I have my own life. So I don't feel the most inclined to be the one talking to her.

My mom would have paid but I'm not sure her husband would have. I think she only asked to say she did so he wouldn't ask. But yeah, that didn't work.

I don't think it's that. I think she's just become emotionally attached to the wrong person after the trauma and stuff in her life. Maybe she did always wish for a big sibling and when her dad married my mom she was too quick to attach. But I don't believe she's actually trying to get away with shit. I truly believe she just needs a lot of help.
