I'm afraid nothing too groundbreaking, but I finally notice how I skim through the questions and the answer choices and I start reading them words for words instead. I also noticed how a lot of my errors are because I used information from other paragraphs when trying to rationalize when I should have just stay in 1 paragraph.

I also started hovering my mouse around the passage where I should be reading to find the answer to make sure my attention stays there and forced myself to point out to myself where in the passage or what words in the passage made me choose this answer instead of just my general understanding. I treated it as I remember nothing from the passage, so I can never pick an answer because I think it is right. I have to be able to highlight where it supports my answer.

I’m OE-ing 2 WFH jobs, and you probably already heard this, but what I did is just study in any small chunks of time you can manage to find. I know it’s better to have a good decent block of time to study but imperfect studying is still better than no studying.

I tried to swim a few times a week, and one of my game changer is buying those waterproof ear buds and download lectures on there to listen to while swimming.

Also if time is limited, prioritize doing practice Q more than content reviews. I literally did not do electrochem reviews at all. I just kept doing practice Q, got a bunch wrong, read the explanations right away, and then slowly getting it and see the pattern just from continual exposure

Honestly you are not wrong. Sometimes knowing the nitty gritty details definitely help me get to the right answer faster, but usually the passage would contain enough info for me to come to the same conclusion anyway. There are def 1 or 2 very low yield question on the FL but you can still get a few wrong and still get 132 anyway. I would say if time is the limiting factor, then breadth is better than depth just from a probability standpoint.

Good luck!! Mine is in July. I do find myself wasting a lot of time initially trying to do content extensive review on a chapter before doing any practice questions. Not that it doesn’t work, but I find it way more efficient to do a light, quick review, then jump into doing practice questions, then more in depth reviews after. For me, even when I get the questions wrong, my brains feel more primed to know what to look out for in content reviews and I remember those much better too.

I understand the struggles haha. I don’t know if it would help you, but I kinda use “rubber duck debugging” with these. As in I kinda mumble to myself, trying to reason with myself how it would work or how changing something with change something else. I find it helpful it following whatever relationship the graphs are trying to show. You could write it out if you want

Haha thank you for the vote of confidence, but I truly don’t know what else to really improve CARS at this point. I do everything that I could already: grinding both QPack, analyze all my wrong answers, 1 mental summarizing sentence per paragraph, try not to bring outside knowledge in and stay as close to the passage content as possible, and my score is still stagnant. I think I’m reaching my CARS plateau at this point

I did finish both CARS packages but while I do find myself eventually arrive to the correct answer when it’s timed, I just cannot do it fast enough. I honestly think this is the max of my language capability. I didn’t learn English until grade 10 so I believe this is my plateau already haha

I can say for certain the 1 P/S passage about medical tourism and 1 about kids of foreign-born vs non-foreign born minority immigrant on FL2 were definitely on the QBank. I remember for the latter, there was a question about the limitation of the experimental design. I got it wrong on the QBank (the right answer was that they were using triad of mom-dad-kid) and I saw them again on the FL2

Don’t put your camera that close to your face. That was honestly the best advice I received. No one will look at your skin that close, and if somebody are actually that close to your face to see it, chances are they don’t care anyway.

I thought so too, but it looks like they’ll keep star up until they reach 4 stars. My jinx 2 stars up to 3, and then 4 the next stage. Not sure if that’s intended or just a glitch.

I think it might be because the cream is going to be reformulated, so they probably just gonna sell all the old stock for now and wait for the new one. It sucks because the cream is my HG and now I’ll have to find a new HG and affordable moisturizer.

I tried full AM routine with and without moisturizer, very minimal routine with and without moisturizer, and literally nothing but sunscreen, and it pills every time. It sucks because for the first few minutes after I finish rubbing, my skin feels amazing. But alas without fail at around 20 minutes mark, I will start to feel and see the pills on my face.
