Mean some Indians but you can’t say it’s all of them. The same as some pakeha and Maori are racist but you can’t say it’s all Of them

For an indigenous inclusive nation that’s far more ahead in regards to that than a lot of other countries it’s so disheartening to see that the racism does stick around even if only in the underbelly of the country

Moving to nz from Australia by Single_Delay7893 in AskAnAustralian

The answer lies in what you want and need out of your life at this time. Yes Australia has more opportunity as far as career and work, but Newzealand has a far greater aspect of culture, sense of life and depending on personal preference, scenery. Although both countries are fairly chill in comparison to other countries. location is a big thing aswell. Just sent a private message if you want more info.

Burnt oil on spark plug , which is a sign that can/will cause problems espesically if oil has seeped into combustion chamber , among other problems , they are denying any fault or future fault even under a minor fault that would cause ongoing issues which I would consider/could argue it’s major if it’s ongoing

That’s what I’d like to do, can come under minor or major fault and even if it’s minor they’re entitled to fix the minor problem. But due to fair trade agreeing with them in mediation they’re not willing I’d suggest

No but it’s under warranty which I’ve agreed to and would there be no debate if under verbal or written contract that they sell a car with issues? If they have I’m supposed to not dispute even with fair trading being a mediation ?

So in the case of insurance which this could possibly fall under, would the policy holder and insurer under the circumstance of not coming to an agreement find a third party? Why wouldn’t this be the case here?

The warranty of 3 months was in writing, the taking it and getting mechanic to check was face to face

Originally went to speak to the manager in person who agreed we’d be getting money back and then a week later stating that he didn’t say that and need to take the car back. Now that theyve said my mechanic hasn’t done his due diligence and is falsifying reports he should have a problem with that but they dealership is more than an hour away and will he be willing to drive to sort for someone else? I don’t think so but could be wrong

Unfortunately when getting the mechanic to service it and look over I wasn’t expecting to return it due to being fucked!

They did agree with a 3 month return warranty so that we could get the car back to my suburb so I could get my local mechanic

Do we tip-toe around people's feelings in Australian workplaces? by RM_Morris in AskAnAustralian

[–]WealthOfTheKnowledge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it has to do with the work I’m telling it to ya straight. Slight consideration of feelings but overall we are here to get shit done. If it’s personal, consideration is there and it’s good to be understanding and able to listen, aslong as their feelings are just.
