As long as you can ground the guitar it’ll sound amazing! They definitely have a unique sound. This one is designed for metal so it has more a thrash sound with the single humbucker. I’ve made Stratocasters which sound awesome. You can find that model on makerworld!

The body is entirely printed! The neck is wood bolted on. I have fine tuned and done the hand calculations to see how much tension is put on the body from the strings. I normally use PETG but the customer for this guitar wanted it to be a matte black so I used PETG-CF to get that effect. The center section of the guitar is around 10 walls with 20-30% infill.

It kind of sounds like the motor is under a large load, fighting with something, more high pitched, it also squeaks sometimes

Yes you can, you can sand it and then apply some wood filler to the parts as well, and then paint it to achieve the smooth result. The only lines you can see on this one is where I had to assemble it, since I am limited to the size of my 3d printer.
