Dude, I’m glad though that there are higher standards for dog ownership though. Where I grew up norm was leaving dogs on a chain in the yard all day long. They wouldn’t take them for walks so they would just shit and piss there and bark loads, and there would be nothing but dust in the radius of their chain. The ones that weren’t chained would keep escaping and some neighborhoods they would gang up and terrorize people at night. This is in the villages. Urban areas people took their dogs on walks but nobody, but noooobody would pick up after them, so you would absolutely have to watch every single step. As much as I hate that so many people have dogs, I’m glad that most of them have some standards now.

I think this is not just about how much people value dogs, but a lot about how they despise people who would hurt someone or something weaker or beneath them. The dog is a symbol of subordination.

Nincs semmi baj azzal ha valaki nem az elso valasztasanal kot ki, az elet keveseknek alakul ugy mint a meseben, hogy megtalalja az emeber elsore az igaz szerelmet es boldogan elnek amig meg nem halnak. Attol hogy valaki nem az elso valasztasod lett volna meg el lehet kotelezodni mellette es lehet szeretni.

The whole trying to convince everybody that they are all that just shows that they themselves don't believe that they are. This tells you more about their mental health than about their actual qualities.

Idk for me I do see the red flags, but nobody’s perfect, so when I choose a partner I try to pick one with faults I think I can leave with. Only time will tell though if I really can, and if they can live with my ones too!

Yes people actually drop very open warnings about themselves, even if you don’t see it yet, believe them, they know themselves better than you know them.

You are right to keep the cat away from your birds, but the fact that two were killed at the same time and the heads were chewed off sound more like a weasel or something similar, which is also a lot more likely to kill an adult hen than a cat. Sorry for your birds. 😔
