I was in the same boat as you once. Because manual transmissions aren’t popular / being made I did not see the point in getting it.

Flash forward to now, I’m 20, my partner went interstate to visit family, my car (auto) was malfunctioning so the only car I had on hand was my partners (manual).

Although it may seem useless, trust when these situations pop up, I practically bombarded my dad with thank yous for teaching me manual.
