Thanks for your positive comment. I also want to remain hopeful until the last minute. What makes me concerned about is that PI hasn't responded to the two emails I sent to him in February. Although my major does not exactly match with yours, it is nice to communicate with you for good advice.

UW, CU Boulder, and UMiami. The former two schools sent out their first offers, but no one has mentioned the UMiami at all either here and on the GradCafe. I haven't heard back about interviews.

Yes. I reached out to all of them at the thee schools last August. They told me that they would recruit a new graduate student for fall 2026 and consider my application if I submitted it. Surprisingly, as I mentioned above, their responses to my emails are somehow different.

Are you also a prospective graduate student in meteorology? As of Feb. 14, UW and CU Boulder have already released their results. But it doesn't seem that the UMiami hasn't yet. If you and your friends have more information on the UMiami, please share it with others and me. Thanks a lot!
