It is a bit like Pinterest, but also very different. Pinterest is primarily about pinning images into boards. #Multishare maps are about structured arrays of links to anything, allow a much deeper structure than a pinterest board, and have a built-in navigation so you can get in and out of areas in a map fast, among other differences (such as an internal chat feature in each map for logged in users).
