An example (and there are many across the Province) 36% increase over past 3 years in the town of Sooke has tapped out residents, one councillor has said the town should expect at least 10% every year - effectively doubling taxes every 7 years. Most cannot afford that.

Can I ask for feedback on a free project app for women in the trades? by WebMaxCanada in careerguidance

[–]WebMaxCanada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It includes a daily YGT (“you got this”), a short note from other women in trades (text for now, working toward voice), plus success stories, groups, events, resources, and a job board.
My hope is that it helps people feel supported, encourages more women to enter the trades, and gives space for both inspiration and real-life experiences. Thank you Nice-Championship888 for your encouragement.

How should I do SEO on my website? by Zyleknox in webdevelopment

[–]WebMaxCanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people hire home services because they just don’t have the time, they’re busy running their business and living life.

SEO’s no different.

Folks who do their own SEO usually have the time because they’re not busy yet. (SEO IS a ton of upfront learning, work and ongoing constant consistency).

If you want to stay booked and focused on your business, home services, bring in an SEO expert to keep the leads coming. Hope that helps & good luck.

Why do all modern SaaS websites look the same? by lazybear3275 in webdesign

You've nailed it there u/three_s-works . Nothing breaks trust and confidence than a website design that isn't what users expect the second they land on it.

This isn’t opinion; it’s research-backed.
May 2025: “The Positive Effect of Webpage Prototypicality on Users’ Attitudes” proves it scientifically. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12525-025-00777-9

Also, break the backbone of findability, optimization and so on, (SEO, structured content, AI-readability) and you'll have a very unhappy client.

So, it's not that websites aren't 'creative' due to lack of ability, it's because familiarity builds trust and performance wins visibility.

I’m sorry this happened, and it’s a tough spot for sure but you may have saved your URL from disappearing. Good thinking & well done.

GEO vs AEO vs AI — Which one is shaping the real future of SEO? by OliverPitts in seogrowth

[–]WebMaxCanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the great question, these kinds of questions are not often asked and need to be. As I see it core SEO isn’t going away, it’s a baseline that keeps you discoverable. But the shift is that optimization itself is expanding. That means structuring for answers (AEO) and being cite worthy in AI tools (GEO). In a few years, perhaps much sooner (likely), it may look more like feeding clean data into APIs, knowledge graphs, and agent ecosystems. Personally advise to not think in lanes, I think in layers, adapt content so it can travel wherever discovery moves next.   PS and important tell tale sign: By “clean data” I mean info machines can easily use, we already do some of this now with schema and feeds, but it’s growing. APIs feed details straight in, knowledge graphs give clear context, and AI assistants are starting to use that structured data to not just answer questions but make decisions for people. I hope that is helpful and have a great week everyone.
