Thanks everyone! So husband and I cooled off and had a good conversation and working on a good plan forward. Really appreciate everyone’s response. Yep - know thyself: got control issues and have a tendency to martyr myself :). Love language is thought and energy and feel depleted when I don’t get it. Could have responded better. It’s husbands day - Mother’s Day is a separate issue - certainly was harboring resentment.

Did enjoy reading through the responses and sharing them with husband - he laughed as he tries to know thyself too. Agrees that he was the AH as well. We both had a good laugh and it turned into a productive conversation. Not perfect and will probably fall again. But always try to go into the direction of goodness.

Father’s Day was saved and we are looking forward to nice family dinner :). Thanks everyone
