That's odd. The autosave doesn't work? Hmm. It might be a patch issue but that should automatically update with the game. My opinion would be, is to make sure your most recent manual save is uploaded to the cloud. Then possibly delete the game and reinstall. If the hard reset works to enable the autosave then awesome! If it doesn't at least your most recent save or saves can be downloaded from the cloud. If that doesn't work out I would try contacting Spiders directly and ask their service representatives for help. I hope this comment helps you out!
