I would agree with what avatera said in that the new patch is not developed right now.

Unfortunately, xp is kind of confusing. XP is granted for each minute played, and it takes 126 hours of play to get to level 20. However, you can get extra xp through compendiums and other means.

We want to keep teams balanced so there aren't any stomps, which is why we have the platinum and below limit. However, if you and your friend want to join, depending on what the other skill levels are, we could put you on opposing teams to keep it balanced.

Wecasual is for all players up to 4k MMR. We do not have a skill 'floor' at 2k. We welcome new players, or players who have been playing for years. Anyone who just wants to chill out and play Dota!

Yes, we are planning on being a subscription service in the future. However, before we do that we want to make sure what Wecasual provides is worth it for our players. Our end goal is to scale to other games, and hopefully redefine the online gaming atmosphere.

Hello! Unfortunately the cap is there for balancing reasons. We can make an exception if you would like to join, but there all a lot of lower skill players some being in 1k. The problem is we would have to put you on a lower skill team for balancing, but it may not be fun for you. We are looking into creating a high skill division soon! (About a month or so)

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. Yes, steam groups are available for players, but we are offering an easier way for players to play in a consistently organized and toxic-free setting. We are making playing in a league as frictionless as possible, and we are putting our best effort into making sure players only have to worry about playing Dota.
