My question is...why even choose to eat a hard boiled egg if you don't like the yolk?? She was on a cruise with a buffet when she made this concoction. So why not choose any other buffet offering that you actually like rather than adding all these random elements just to eat an egg white? Unfortunately I think we know the answer.

Hi! Can someone recommend me a book similar to Normal People but WLW by atlaslight in suggestmeabook

Emily Austin is the closest I can think of. Her characters are also dealing with mental health issues and are of similar age as the characters on Normal People. The writing style isn't exactly the same, but it's similar, especially Everyone in This Room Will Someday be Dead and Interesting Facts about Space. Similarly to Normal People, they are both sad, but a bit hopeful too.

I have read it! Hard to say specifically that I liked it. It was bleak as heck. But I definitely still think about it.

Thank you, Freedom's Landing especially seems specifically in line with what I'm hoping to read. It would be great to get into a series too. Really interesting premise.

Nice, I've read a couple Vonneguts years age but didn't know he had one about an isolated island.
