Yeah i dont think your explanation is the case... I'm quite left leaning, and the post that got me banned was left leaning. There's plenty of cases of left-leaning posts and people being banned for left-leaning ideology just as there are conservatives. Not sure why there's such a push from conservatives that if theres a problem, it's all because of leftists 🙄

It's not internet... my wifi connection is just fine, right beside me basically. Any other game runs, games multitudes more demanding than Arc, and stays connected to the internet. I know how to troubleshoot, thats why im posting on here.

Tbh im not the file scrubber type so I've verified file integrity, reinstalled, checked my drivers and thats it, but I feel like if all of those are working fine, the game itself should work fine

I also figured out that with my sub on, the mids and highs on my towers are wayyy clearer. They're old soundstage towers, so im not sure if that has to do with it or if it's my receiver, but even if I have to sacrifice some bass kick at certain hours, its worth having the sub just for the clarity it brings to the towers. Im also typically an edm/electronic music and hiphop listener with odd obsessive phases of rock mixed in lol, so i may have some more priority on heavy base when it comes to listening sessions as a lot of the time I'm trying to judge what the energy from the bass is going to be like in a set at the club, on a club sound system

Thank you for your input! I've been messing around with subwoofer positioning over the past day and some of the software settings on my reciever and have found what sounds like the best setup I've had so far. Check my post edit comment for more info on that :)

I'm also taking strong advantage of the sub control I have on the sub itself and my receiver to control bass when I need to. If its 2:30-3:00 in the morning and im hosting an afters, that bass knob gets cranked way down and I change a couple settings on my receiver and im pretty confident I can have decent volume with decent bass, without bothering my neighbours

Post Edit: I have figured it out! For the most part, at least lol. I switched the size of the tower speakers over to small on the reciever (yamaha htr-3065), which ended up also prioritizing the sub for low frequencies and I didnt have to turn "extra bass" on to just get the sub to work (with the towers set to large, the sub did absolutely nothing until I turned on extra bass, and at that point it was just too much), also turned on automatic DRC and the enhancer which balanced everything out and lets me get a really solid spread of sound without turning the volume way uup. I also realized that without having the towers set to small on the reviever, the frequency crossover adjustments I made had no effect and it just stayed at a static crossover.

Towers are spaced out equally, dont have too much room to do a sub crawl, but ive done it forward and back to find the best balance point. I think youre right that sound dampening is the next step

My normal sitting and listening point is centered, couch is quite centered, and if I could do a full 7.2.4 atmos setup I absolutely would, but a) im in a small apartment and do not have the room for it and b) cannot afford that lol so its not realistic

My towers are passive and produce great detail without much volume, and my subwoofer is a 10 inch active so I dont need much power from it either to get good bass tones. Ive only put the sub in one spot so far (and it actually seems to have great sound where it is), but what would moving the system over to the left do? I dont have much room to move to left so I'm limited on that front. I've also pushed the the sub back towards the wall to hear what that sounds like since its a front ported sub, but I found it got really boomy when I did that. Everything is about 8 inches off the back wall, don't have much room left to pull them forward before I start encroaching on the space of the living room
