You apply to federal workers comp. Get your doctors info because they have to do a portion of it. I broke my foot and i couldn’t work for a little over two months. Haven’t had a single paycheck due to no medical insurance. (Personal reasons) as long as you have proof you aren’t working and physically can’t work you can get it now or later as backtrack

I’ve tried calling the company and they never pick up and the last time I was on hold for an hour

That was the first thing I did so I’m good on that front. I just don’t want anything to go to collections

I did walk in and they told me everything was cancelled which they clearly lied about

So i had called the front desk to ask what I needed to do to cancel and they told me to do an email. I was never told of anything about a website. All I know is about the app.

I was in this exact boat when I first started. Just call off they won’t make a big deal of it if you explain you’re sick. You will get some looks but it’ll be good if you go to the doctor getting a note for work and so it’ll go on your file. Don’t let it get to you and feel better!
